Out of School Programs

The Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of different programs for when school is out of session. Our goal is to provide your child with a safe, nurturing and fun camp experience.

Summer Camp

We offer summer camp for the entire time school is closed for the summer break, and you only pay for the weeks you want. Our camp hours are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, with our scheduled day of activities between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Camp T-shirts, arts and crafts supplies, and all field trips are included in the fee. Campers will go on age-appropriate field trips such as the pool, the Rapids Water Park, Calypso Bay, movies, out for ice cream, bowling, zoo, etc. Breakfast and lunch are also included in the fee for summer camp.  This camp is for children ages 5 (must be in kindergarten) to age 12. There will once again be a reading component during summer camp to ensure that children don't fall behind while school is out of session. We can accommodate 120 children at summer camp.

Registration is currently underway for both residents and non-residents. Both camps will begin Monday, June 5th. There will be a registration of $25 per child and each child will receive five T-shirts. The cost for both camps will be $125.00 per child per week, which includes all field trips, supplies and breakfast & lunch. Camp hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with field trips scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. For more information, contact Leanna Collazo at the Village of Palm Springs Parks and Recreation Department at (561) 964-8820.
