Land Development Board
The Land Development Board makes recommendations on land issues such as building site plans, annexations, special exceptions, land use, and zoning. This board also serves as a quasi-judicial board, hearing applications for variances from the Land Development Code. Applicants for this board must be village residents.

Construction Board of Adjustment & Appeals

The Construction Board of Adjustment and Appeals hears cases when there is an appeal to a decision of the building official. This board requires members with extensive professional experience. Applicants do not have to live in the village to apply.

Leisure Services Board
The Leisure Services Board advises on matters of recreation, use of playgrounds, athletic fields and recreational centers and sports programs. Applicant for this Board must be a Village resident.

Library Board
The Library Board recommends improvements to expand library services and also recommends programs and activities that will best serve the residents. Applicants for this board must be village residents.

General Employee’s Pension Board
The General Employee's Pension Board consists of a resident member who contributes expertise on general employees’ pension fund investments and benefits. This member is voted on by the remaining four members of the board. Applicants for this board must be a village residents.

Police Officer’s Pension Board
The Police Officer’s Pension Board consists of resident members who contribute expertise on police employees’ pension fund investments and benefits. Two resident members are appointed by the Village Council, and one additional member is voted on by the remaining four members of the board. Applicants for this board must be village residents.

Village Redistricting Ad Hoc Committee
Once every four years, the village is required to re-establish district boundaries for representation on the Village Council, based on new population figures and new boundaries established by annexation and residential development and / or redevelopment. Committee members are appointed by the Village Council upon review of applications submitted. Applicants for this committee must be village residents.
