On Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, the Palm Springs Athletic Complex parking lot will be transformed into a large-equipment playground. Children will have the opportunity to explore several service trucks and emergency vehicles including a Dump truck, Bucket truck, Front End Loader and Police vehicles. This free event will also feature live demonstrations, music, food for sale, children's activities, and much more!
With bicycles becoming a more popular source of transportation it is important to be aware of how to utilize them on the roadways properly. The Bike Rodeo date is still to be determined but will take place at the Village Center Complex. There will be a Bike Safety Obstacle Course, Bike & Helmet Inspection station and a Free Child ID station. We will also be giving away FREE bike helmets to the first 10 children that arrive! The rodeo is for children between the ages of 5 and 12. We ask that children who are going to participate in the Bike Safety Obstacle Course bring their own bicycle and helmets must be worn while riding. The Bike Rodeo is completely FREE, so come on out and enjoy the day with us while the kids learn how to properly use bicycles on our roadways!
The Easter Eggstravaganza is a time-honored tradition here in the Village where children between the ages of 1 and 10 hunt on our ball fields for candy and toy filled eggs. A lucky few will receive eggs with golden tickets inside which they will be able to redeem for prize filled Easter baskets. The event begins this year at 5:30 pm on Thursday, April 18, 2019. In addition to the egg hunt, there will also be a petting zoo, face painting, inflatables, food, and photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny!
4th of July Independence Day Celebration
On Thursday, July 4th, join the Village of Palm Springs in celebrating America's Independence Day at the Village Center Complex Basketball Courts from 6:00 – 9:30 pm. This free family-friendly event will include a live band, photo booth, children's activities, concessions available for purchase, and a beautiful fireworks display sponsored in part by Phantom Fireworks. Grab your lawn chairs, bring the whole family out, and arrive early for an All-American inspired evening in Palm Springs.
The Annual Fall Festival event will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm in the Courtyard located at 226 Cypress Lane. This free, family-friendly event is put on to celebrate the fall season. There will be a rock wall, food, music, games, prizes, a haunted house and costume contest! The Village is a proud supporter of the Teal Pumpkin Project which supports children with food allergies so in addition to candy, we will also have non-food related items available as prizes for our carnival style games.
The Mayor's Walk will take place this year on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. This year's walk supports the Walk to End Alzheimer's and the proceeds collected will go to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. Together we can make a difference! Participants receive a t-shirt and bottle of water.
Tree Lighting Ceremony
The Village of Palm Springs will kick-off the holiday season with a Christmas tree lighting and Menorah presentation on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Village Center Complex located at 226 Cypress Lane. Residents and their families are invited to celebrate with us and listen to live musical performances and enjoy a family movie night when we premiere the movie Elf.

Parents, your children will have fun with our staff playing a variety of holiday games, arts and crafts, and having dinner with Santa while you hang out and take pictures or just drop the kids off to get some last minute shopping out of the way.
