On Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 10:00 am – 1:30 pm, the Palm Springs Athletic Complex parking lot will be transformed into a large-equipment playground. Children will have the opportunity to explore several service trucks and emergency vehicles including a Dump truck, Bucket truck, Front End Loader and Police vehicles. This free event will also feature live demonstrations, music, food for sale, children’s activities, and much more!
Family Fun Day - Community Sale, Walk, Bike Rodeo, and Chalk Art Festival
On Saturday, March 13, 2020 we will join forces with the Palm Springs Library to host different events including a Community Sale, Walk with Mayor Bev Smith, Bicycle Rodeo, and Chalk Art Festival! The event will take place from 7:00 am - 1:00 pm in front of the Palm Springs Library. Family Fun Day - is completely FREE, so come on out and enjoy the day with us!
Easter Eggstravaganza 2020 Has Been Canceled
The Easter Eggstravaganza is a time-honored tradition here in the Village where children between the ages of 1 and 10 hunt on our ball fields for candy and toy filled eggs. A lucky few will receive eggs with golden tickets inside which they will be able to redeem for prize filled Easter baskets. The event begins next year at 5:30 pm on Thursday, April 1, 2021. In addition to the egg hunt, there will also be a petting zoo, face painting, inflatables, food, and photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny!
4th of July Independence Day Celebration
On Saturday, July 4th, join the Village of Palm Springs in celebrating America’s Independence Day at the Village Center Complex Basketball Courts from 6:00 – 9:30 pm. This free family-friendly event will include a live band, photo booth, children’s activities, concessions available for purchase, and a beautiful fireworks display sponsored in part by Phantom Fireworks. Grab your lawn chairs, bring the whole family out, and arrive early for an All-American inspired evening in Palm Springs.
Hispanic Heritage Festival
Please join us Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 12:00 - 6:00 pm to celebrate our Hispanic culture with food, music, and fun for the whole family!
The Annual Fall Festival event will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm in the Courtyard located at 226 Cypress Lane. This free, family-friendly event is put on to celebrate the fall season. There will be a hay ride, food, music, games, prizes, a haunted house and costume contest! The Village is a proud supporter of the Teal Pumpkin Project which supports children with food allergies so in addition to candy, we will also have non-food related items available as prizes for our carnival style games.
Tree Lighting Ceremony
The Village of Palm Springs will kick-off the holiday season with a Christmas tree lighting and Menorah presentation on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Village Center Complex located at 226 Cypress Lane. Residents and their families are invited to celebrate with us and listen to live musical performances from local schools.
Dinner with Santa
Dinner with Santa will be held in the Community Room of Village Hall this year on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Parents, your children will have fun with our staff playing a variety of holiday games, arts and crafts, and having dinner with Santa while you hang out and take pictures or just drop the kids off to get some last minute shopping out of the way. They will also have a chance to take pictures with Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas and Santa will have a special gift for your little boy or girl. Pre-Registration is required, event fee is $25.00 per child and payment must be made prior to Saturday, December 5th, 2020.
Santa’s Sleigh Ride
Santa loves Palm Springs so much that he rides throughout the Village greeting everyone on one special day in December. Sleigh Ride Date 2020 TBD.
