Welcome Message from Chief Ceccarelli
On behalf of the fine women and men of the Palm Springs police department, I would like to thank you for visiting our website.
The Palm Springs police department has a diverse workforce comprised of 49 full-time sworn officers and 25 full-time civilian members. We also maintain a staff of part-time and auxiliary officers and part-time civilian and volunteer personnel. We are a full-service department that in addition to road patrol has a detective bureau, community policing unit, traffic officers, code enforcement, crime scene and a dispatch center that serves over 24,000 residents. Every member is dedicated to providing the highest level of professional service to our citizens, businesses and the visitors we serve.
By incorporating a number of problem solving initiatives to include community oriented policing, a variety of juvenile programs and a safe driving campaign, our staff is committed to ensuring that the Village of Palm Springs is a premier city in which to live, work, raise a family and be known as a "Great Place to Call Home."
I hope you will take advantage of the many opportunities to be involved in our community and department. If I or any of the department staff can be of service, please do not hesitate to call or email me.
