All Village lobbies will be opened to the public with limited access on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
The Village of Palm Springs continues to coordinate with our community partners while closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation for our area. Village staff is continuously assessing and adapting emergency orders for COVID-19 and we continue to implement various mitigation strategies to continue to slow the possible transmission of this virus throughout our community. As Palm Beach County and the state of Florida makes a transition into Phase II, the Village has decided to reopen our lobbies with limited access.
As the Village re-opens the goal will continue to be keeping our residents, vendors and staff safe. Please read below for guidance on our re-opening plan. Please note the below is subject to change.
The Village continues to practice CDC Guidelines with following Palm Beach County Executive Orders. We ask that all visitors entering our facilities wear a mask/facial covering during the entire duration they are in the building and continue to practice social distancing. Visitors who are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or who tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days are asked to call or email the specific department and not come in to protect Village staff and other customers.
Staff will continue (as we have throughout the pandemic) to be available to conduct business by phone, E-mail and/or other appropriate communication methods in the event a visitor does not feel comfortable visiting our facilities at this time.

The lobby will be limited to only four people at a time. Lobby hours will be from 8am to 7 pm during this time period

Staff will be available Monday – Friday, from 7:30am to 4:30pm, to provide information and/or answer questions regarding services and assist with permitting and zoning.
The lobby will be limited to only two people at a time. A sign-in sheet will be provided outside the office door should a customer need to wait in their car because the two-person limit has been met.
A “pick-up box” will still be available outside the PZB entry door for customers who only need to pick up a permit or document (call in advance to arrange for outside pick-up).

We strongly encourage all utility customers to utilize our on-line payment system (visit www.vpsfl.org) and/or the payment drop-box (located on the west side of Village Hall) for all utility payments during this time period. This makes it more convenient for our customers.
