Out of School Programs

The Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of different programs for when school is out of session. Our goal is to provide your child with a safe, nurturing and fun camp experience.


Summer Camp

Summer Break is right around the corner! Camp starts Monday, June 11th through Friday, August 3rd. Registration for residents of Palm Springs will begin Monday, April 2nd. Non-resident registration will begin Monday, April 30th. The cost for the camp is $160 per week with a one-time registration fee of $25 which includes five camp shirts. The camp fee includes field trips and all supplies used at camp. Camp hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., drop off begins at 8:30 a.m. and pick-up through 4:30 p.m. Before care is available at a rate of $25 for the week from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and after care, also available for $25 for the week from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

There is a tiered discount plan for pre-paying for multiple weeks at the time of registration from $10 off for 2 weeks, $15 off for 4 weeks, and $25 off for full payment of all 8 weeks.

Campers will go on a field trip every day. Breakfast and Lunch is provided for summer camp through the Summer Food Service Program.  We can accommodate a maximum of 100 children ages 5 - 12 and 20 teens ages 13 - 14 at summer camp.

Thanksgiving Camp

Camp starts Monday, November 19th through Wednesday, November 21st. Registration is currently underway. The cost for the 3-day camp is $96 which includes one camp shirt. The camp fee includes field trips and all supplies used at camp. Camp hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., drop off begins at 8:30 a.m. and pick-up through 4:30 p.m. Before care is available at a rate of $15 for the week from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and after care, also available for $15 for the week from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Children are to provide breakfast and lunch except on Monday when it is included in their trip to Superplay USA.

Winter Camp

Camp will consist of three (3) separate sessions which starts Wednesday, December 26th through Friday, December 28th, session two (2) will be Wednesday, January 2nd through Friday, January 5th, and finally, we will host a school's day out on Monday, January 7th. Registration is currently underway. The cost for each 3-day sessions is $96. The school's day out costs $32. The camp fee includes field trips and all supplies used at camp. Camp hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., drop off begins at 8:30 a.m. and pick-up through 4:30 p.m. Before care is available at a rate of $5 per day from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and after care, also available for $5 per day from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Children are to be provided breakfast and lunch except for on days when lunch is provided.
